Parents

If you feel that your son or daughter made the wrong decision to study A Levels, or no longer wish to study in the A Level environment, a Fast Forward Extended Diploma qualification might be the right path for them.
Each Extended Diploma course will equip your son or daughter with employability skills and industry specific knowledge.
Fast Forward Extended Diplomas are fast paced courses which start in January, February and March, and will still take 18 months to complete, meaning that students have the option of progressing onto a further qualification the following September or straight into employment.

Vocationally based

qualifications

Fast Forward courses have been designed for your son and daughter to acquire a qualification in an in-demand industry. Each Extended Diploma will teach students the necessary industry skills so that graduates have the knowledge and experience to achieve career success.

Subject Focus

A Levels are not for everyone. By studying a Fast Forward Extended Diploma, your son or daughter will be studying a single subject, with more time and effort dedicated to the industry which appeals to them.
This could be considered as a better option over studying a number of subject areas, some of which may not be relevant when looking for employment.

Progression

Extended Diplomas are equivalent to 3 A Levels, although, like A Levels, the qualification weighting is determined by the final pass grade. Extended Diplomas, like A Levels, are credited with UCAS points, so graduates are still able to attend university once they have complete the course.
